Family Vacation!
We went on our first "annual" trip to Jekyll Island in Georgia. It was great! Willa was wonderful...went swimming for the first time, took a bath in the sink, and met Uncle Craig, and Aunt Mia. We plan on doing this once a year. Mikes already planning next year:-).

The "God Mother" :-)
Aunt Casey came over tonight to visit. It was so nice for mommy to have her here. On Ocotober 10, 2010, Casey and Rob will become baby Willa's godparents. Mike and I are in the process of beoming members of the Hyde Park United Methodist church. I love going to church every Sunday with my new family. We started visiting before Willa was born and everyone was so welcoming. I can't wait until the baptism. Many posts will follow.

"Getting Things Done"
When my sis was here a couple of weeks ago, we went to a consignment shop (Thanks Jen:-) to get a swing for lil Wills. I also found this "Mei Tai" carrier for $12 (regularly$80) It's great to wear around the house with my peanut. My arms are free to e-mail, sew, do the dishes etc.
Here we are...getting things done!
I love the colors and it is reversable!
Willa's New Dress
So, I wasnt able to get out of the house to go to the fabric store, so I went shopping in my closet:-). I found this old tube style "belly" shirt that I should never wear again:-). I made a head band and a onesie dress for "peanut", and I have enough material to make one more dress.

One of "The Three Little Birds"
I made this onsie for my good friend Jaeleen's new little lovey, Julianna. Can't wait to meet her!!! She and Willa are exactly 5 weeks apart! Jae called me at 1 am (from home ) with a question about contractions and had Jules at 2:45 am (at the hospital, luckily)!!!!
It's like one I made for Willa already, but I added more. I used scraps from the maternity jeans, and buttons from my "button collection" (Casey makes fun of me for that too:-).
Luv u Case!!!
Cloth Dipes!
As some of you may know, I am using cloth diapers for "Peanut". Again, thanks to my sis for teaching me the ropes. It's going great! I do one load of cloth dipes about every 2 days. We are still using some disposables dipes and all disposable wipes (can't get used to the cloth wipes yet-runny poo).
Here's a picture of the dipes and two wet bags I use. I sewed straps on the wet bags so they could be tied to the changing tables. I have 18 diaps and 36 inserts, and it's plenty.
Go Green!!!!
